Ray Luong

Ray Luong is an experienced designer specializing in user experience and web usability, with a strong educational background in cognitive science and human-computer interaction. Starting as a Web Usability Intern at the UCSD Portal Services and later at the UCSD Campus Web Office, Ray contributed to the redesign of various university websites and assisted departments in transitioning to a new content management system. Ray's professional journey includes roles as a Designer at DataPad, a Product Designer at Inkling, and positions at major companies like Google as an Interaction Designer and LinkedIn as a Senior User Experience Designer. Additionally, Ray led UX design efforts at SRI International, focusing on the application of artificial intelligence in biology education. Ray holds an MS in Human Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego.
