Raymond Calamito

Raymond Calamito is an experienced professional in the fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning. As an AI/ML Project Manager at Citi from March 2020 to June 2023, Raymond developed computer vision algorithms and led a team focused on large-scale deployment of AI products, utilizing frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow. Following this role, Raymond became a Staff Software Engineer in Research Computational Imaging at Google in July 2023. Prior to Citi, Raymond served as a Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon, where generative AI solutions were developed to enhance data output and speech recognition. Raymond's educational background includes a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master’s in Computer Science and Engineering from The City College of New York, a Bachelor's in Computer Science from John Jay College, and a Master's in English Language and Literature from The City College of New York.
