Ricardo Prada

Dr. Ricardo Prada is an accomplished expert in user experience and design, currently serving as the Director of AIUX at DeepMind, Google, since May 2017, after leading various user experience initiatives at Google Research. Prior to joining Google, Dr. Prada was the Head of Design and User Research at X, the moonshot factory, from November 2009 to May 2017, overseeing multiple innovative projects. Earlier experience includes significant roles at Google, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, and as a doctoral research assistant at George Mason University, where research focused on airline training and flight deck automation. Dr. Prada holds a PhD in Human Factors & Applied Cognitive Psychology from George Mason University, along with various professional and executive certificates from prestigious institutions.
