Robbie Haertel

Robbie Haertel is a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Google, specializing in Cloud AI and machine learning models since July 2012, with previous roles as Staff Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. Prior to Google, Robbie worked at Brigham Young University from September 2006 to June 2012, focusing on applied machine learning research and serving as a Teaching Assistant. Experience also includes software development internships at Google and instructional design work, alongside a diverse background in research assistance and teaching. Robbie holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, an M.A. in Linguistics, and a B.S. in Computer Science from Brigham Young University.
