Robert Carver is an accomplished meteorologist and research scientist with extensive experience in weather prediction and data analysis. Carver's career includes roles at Loon, where expertise in weather forecasting was utilized for hurricane track predictions, and at Google, where advanced AI/ML techniques are applied to address weather and climate challenges. Previous positions include research and development roles at Weather Underground and The Weather Channel, as well as significant academic contributions as a graduate research assistant at both Penn State University and the University of Oklahoma. Carver holds a PhD in Meteorology from Penn State University, a Master's in Meteorology from the University of Oklahoma, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
