Rodrigo Benenson

Rodrigo Benenson is a Senior Research Scientist at Google, focusing on advanced robotics and perception technologies. They earned their PhD in Robotics from Ecole Nationale Supérieur des Mines de Paris, where they contributed to safety design and perception algorithms for driverless vehicles. Prior to their current role, Rodrigo worked as a scientific collaborator at K.U.Leuven and the Max-Planck-Institut für Informatik, and as a research engineer at Ecole des Mines de Paris, applying their doctoral research. Their early education culminated in an engineering degree in Electronics from Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria.
