Rose Yao

Rose Yao is a seasoned technology executive currently serving as Vice President of Product Management at Google since July 2017. In this role, Yao leads initiatives for Google Search, focusing on creating innovative features to enhance user engagement, and previously managed product development for Google Nest and the Pixel tablet. Prior to Google, Yao held positions at Athos as VP of Product, where the responsibility included end-to-end product strategy for tech-integrated fitness apparel, and at Facebook as Group Product Manager for the photos team. Yao began a career in product management with a significant tenure at Google from 2005 to 2010 and has also gained early experience in software engineering through internships at Microsoft and Sandia National Labs. Yao holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a minor in French from Université Sorbonne Nouvelle.
