Saeedeh Afshari

Saeedeh Afshari is a seasoned software engineer with a strong background in machine learning and data engineering. Currently employed at Google as a Software Engineer specializing in Machine Learning since October 2021, Saeedeh previously worked at Microsoft as a Software Engineer from April 2021 to October 2021. Saeedeh's experience also includes a role as a Data Engineer at Teck Resources Limited from August 2020 to April 2021 and leadership as the IoT Team Lead at Advanced Intelligent Systems Inc. from August 2018 to August 2020, where Saeedeh also contributed as a researcher. Additionally, Saeedeh served as a Research Assistant at the Medical Imaging Analysis Lab at Simon Fraser University from September 2016 to March 2019. Saeedeh holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University, obtained in January 2019, and furthered education at the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University from January 2019 to January 2020.
