Sam Nguyen

Sam Nguyen is a Machine Learning Engineer at Google since April 2022, specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning. Prior to this role, Sam worked as a Staff Researcher at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory from November 2018 to April 2022, focusing on various areas including multimodal information retrieval and physics-based machine learning. Sam also contributed as a Research Assistant at Lehigh University's Learning Privacy and Security Research Lab and Intelligent Decision Systems and Technologies Lab, engaging in projects related to reinforcement learning, adversarial learning, and game-based machine learning. An internship at Microsoft involved developing algorithms for outlier detection and data visualization for incentive programs.
