Sarvjeet Singh

Sarvjeet Singh is a Director of Engineering at Google Research, overseeing the Conversational Recommendations (ConvRec) initiative since April 2017, focusing on advancements in Recommendations, Natural Language Understanding, Speech, and Simulations. Prior to this role, Sarvjeet served as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at YouTube from November 2015 to March 2017, where notable projects utilized Machine Learning and AI to enhance user experience. Sarvjeet also held various positions at Google from January 2009 to October 2015, leading teams in large-scale user personalization, recommendations, and automated real-time bidding algorithms in Ads. Educational credentials include a B. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and both an MS and PhD in Computer Science from Purdue University.
