Serdar Bulut is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software engineering and infrastructure management. Currently serving as Engineering Director at Google since September 2025, Serdar previously held the position of Director of Software Engineering at LinkedIn, leading the Core Storage infrastructure organization. With a strong background in data infrastructure, Serdar managed senior software engineering teams at both Facebook and Meta, overseeing the development of key technologies such as PrestoDB and Apache Spark. Serdar's earlier roles include Senior Software Engineering Manager at Twitter, Chief Architect at Nokia, Technical Leader at Cisco, and Senior Software Architect at Phoenix Technologies. Serdar co-founded The Forbin Group Inc. and has a solid educational foundation with a Master's degree from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree from Middle East Technical University.
