Shuo Chen is an experienced software engineer currently working at Google since June 2015, focusing on Adwords. Prior to this role, Shuo served as a financial software developer at Bloomberg LP from September 2012 to June 2015. Shuo began a career in research as a graduate research assistant at the University of Michigan from September 2006 to May 2007 and continued similar work at UC Berkeley until December 2012. Shuo holds a Ph.D. in Computational Materials Science from the University of California, obtained between 2007 and 2012, an M.A. in Statistics from the same institution completed in 2010, and a B.E. in Materials Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University, received in 2006.
