Stan Trepetin

Stan Trepetin, PhD, CISSP, CEH, GIAC (GWEB) is an accomplished professional in IT security with extensive experience across various industries. Currently, Stan serves as a Founding Member of OptimalCipher and a Senior Security Technical Program Manager at Google, focusing on security threats in cloud environments. Notable prior roles include Senior Vice President for Security Architecture at Citi, Chief Information Security Officer at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, and Vice President of Information Security at HSBC and Citadel. Stan has contributed to the development and implementation of critical security frameworks and innovative risk management programs while also engaging in significant research initiatives, including creating a Security Cost-Benefit Model at MIT. Stan holds a B.A. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Cornell University, an M.A. in Liberal Studies from Duke University, and a PhD in Health Informatics from MIT.
