Steve Joachim is an experienced engineer with a diverse background in both mechanical and software engineering. Beginning as a Co-op at L3Harris Technologies in 2010, Steve contributed to the development of prototype hardware for the JCREW 3.3 program. Steve then joined Mercury Systems from 2011 to December 2019 as a Mechanical Engineer, focusing on the thermal, structural, and environmental reliability of complex PCB modules for the defense market. Following this, Steve worked at Kasten as a Member of Technical Staff, where expertise in Kubernetes and Go programming was leveraged for cloud-native data management. Currently, Steve is a Software Engineer at Google. Steve holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University, a Master's in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, and completed coursework in Computer Science at Harvard Extension School.
