Steve Ransom

Steve Ransom has a diverse background in user research and design strategy, with experience spanning multiple companies. Positions include Design Strategist and User Researcher at SAP from 2005 to 2007, Senior User Researcher at Google since 2018, and roles such as Business Solution Designer and Senior User Researcher at Autodesk from 2012 to 2014. Ransom began a career in research as a Research Analyst at EG&G DYNATREND in 1995, followed by an Analyst role at Systems Resources Corporation from 1997 to 1999. Consulting work was undertaken as Design and Business Strategist from 2002 to 2004, and Ransom served as a Human Systems Analyst at Aptima, Inc. from 1999 to 2001. Self-employment as a Design Strategy Consultant occurred from 2015 to 2018, and Ransom also contributed as a lecturer and program consultant at the Presidio School of Management from 2009 to 2015.
