Sumin Lim

Sumin Lim is a recent graduate from the University of California, Los Angeles, holding a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering. Sumin's professional experience includes internships at Northrop Grumman as a Space Systems Mechanical Engineering Intern and at Varda Space Industries as a Spacecraft Engineering Intern. Sumin has also contributed to the Rocket Project at UCLA in various leadership roles, overseeing the design, manufacturing, and testing processes for a hybrid motor rocket. Additionally, Sumin has worked at Tesla as a Mechanical Design Engineering Intern focusing on battery systems and at Apple as a Camera Hardware Engineering Intern. Currently, Sumin is employed as a Product Design Engineer at Google, working on the Pixel Watch. Sumin has been involved in multiple engineering organizations, including serving as an Engineering Ambassador and a Machine Shop Technician at UCLA, as well as being a national member of the Society of Women Engineers.
