Tara McIntosh

Tara McIntosh is a Staff Software Engineer at Google, specializing in Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Data Mining, and Bioinformatics. With a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Sydney, Tara previously held roles including Research Scientist at Wavii, and Senior Research Scientist at Google. Tara has contributed to the design and development of advanced information extraction tools and has published research in top NLP conferences. Currently, Tara is focused on developing unsupervised algorithms to improve information extraction from biomedical texts.
