Thang Luong is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and natural language processing. From September 2018 to October 2022, Thang held senior leadership roles at Google as both a Senior Staff Research Scientist and Senior Manager, focusing on learning from large volumes of unlabeled data within Google Brain. Prior to this, Thang contributed significantly to deep language learning as a Senior Research Scientist at Google Brain and earned a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University, with a thesis on neural machine translation.
