Tyler Norris

Tyler H. Norris is the Head of Market Innovation for the Advanced Energy team at Google, a position they have held since November 2025. With nearly fifteen years of experience in the U.S. energy sector, Norris previously served as VP of Development at Cypress Creek Renewables and held key roles at the U.S. Department of Energy and S&P Global Platts. As a James B. Duke Fellow at Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment, their PhD research focuses on bulk power systems. Recognized for their contributions to climate policy, Norris was named to the TIME100 Climate 2025 list and has authored significant publications on energy practices.
