Uroš Weng

Uro L. currently serves as a Research Data Engineer at Citadel Securities, focusing on alternative data analytics since July 2022. Previously, Uro worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Maryland, collaborating on research that was accepted for AISTATS 2022. Uro has also held leadership as Co-President of the Smith Investment Fund, engaging fellow students in Quantitative Finance. Experience includes multiple software engineering internships at Facebook, focusing on question answering and election integrity, and a quantitative research internship at Millennium Management LLC, where Uro contributed to systematic VIX and options strategy research. Uro has completed education at the University of Maryland and Montgomery Blair High School's specialized magnet program.
