Vidhyashankar Balasubramanian

Vidhyashankar Balasubramanian is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business and product strategy, currently serving as the Director of Business / Product Strategy, Planning, Analytics, and Operations at Google since August 2022. At Google Cloud, Vidhyashankar leads efforts to enhance growth and business performance across key areas such as compute services, AI/ML solutions, and mission-critical enterprise workloads. Previously, Vidhyashankar spent a decade at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Partner, where notable achievements included guiding high-stakes strategic initiatives and digital transformations for Fortune 50 clients. Earlier roles included product management at Intel Corporation, where Vidhyashankar was instrumental in launching the ultra-mobile Atom System on Chips, and as Engagement Manager at Infosys Technologies Ltd., where Vidhyashankar successfully scaled a major account. Vidhyashankar holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, a Master of Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Madras.
