Weihao Chen is a software engineer at Google since November 2016, with prior experience as a software developer at Epic from June 2013 to November 2016, where core development of the MyChart Bedside iOS application took place. Weihao has also served as a research assistant at Rockwell Automation Lab in Shanghai Jiao Tong University from September 2008 to September 2010, contributing to Master-Slave applications in CAN Bus communication and industrial applications related to water purification. Internships at IBM and Epic provided exposure to technical analysis and software development, respectively. Weihao holds a Master of Science in Computer and Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania (2011-2013) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (2007-2011). Additional experience includes a teaching assistant role for a graduate-level software engineering course at the University of Pennsylvania.
