Wesley Liao

Wesley Liao is an accomplished machine learning professional with extensive experience in recommender systems and natural language processing, holding senior positions at BCG GAMMA and Dropbox, and currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer in Machine Learning at Google since 2025. Prior to this, Wesley held a Senior Consultant role at Oliver Wyman and contributed to strategy and analytics for Google from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, Wesley has academic experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, focusing on reinforcement learning and deep learning. Wesley earned a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Science in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
