Yanchen Liu

Yanchen (Ella) Liu is an accomplished data scientist with experience in statistical analysis and machine learning. At Wayfair, Yanchen focused on A/B testing and lift studies employing techniques like linear mixed models and data sampling methods. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Google, Yanchen enhances capacity forecasts for Google Cloud through improved time series forecasting, incorporating unpredictable customer events. Previously, as a Graduate Research Assistant at Northeastern University, Yanchen conducted research in network science, creating models to analyze real-world systems and developing deep learning neural networks. Yanchen earned a PhD in Network Science from Northeastern University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Peking University.
