Yolanda Mlonzi

Yolanda Mlonzi is an experienced professional in communications, policy, and data governance, having held various roles across notable organizations. Key positions include Communications and Social Media Coordinator for the African School on Internet Governance and Programme Assistant at the Association for Progressive Communications. Yolanda has also contributed to Google as an AI Ethics Fellow and has been a leader in data governance policies while managing regulatory compliance in Ads Products. Additionally, Yolanda served as a Board Member for the Internet Service Providers' Association of South Africa and as the Marketing and Communications Manager for the Internet Society. Academic qualifications include an Honours Degree in Media Studies and a Master’s Degree in Social Science of the Internet from the University of Oxford.
