Zhen Zhu

Zhen Zhu, Ph.D., is currently a Staff Software Engineer and Tech Lead Manager at Google, where they lead a team focused on Search Index Quality while developing large-scale machine learning models and algorithms for web indexing systems. Previously, Zhen held positions as a Senior R&D Engineer at ASML and a Postdoctoral Researcher at UC Santa Barbara, where they conducted significant research in semiconductor materials. Zhen earned their Ph.D. in Physics from Michigan State University and has a strong background in the design and simulation of two-dimensional semiconductors from their early research experiences.
