Zhiyao

Zhiyao (Mazy) Ma is an accomplished software engineer and engineering manager with extensive experience in the technology sector. From September 2016 to September 2019, Zhiyao served as a Staff Software Engineer at Facebook, leading a team to develop an automated chatbot system for Messenger to assist advertisers. Prior to that, Zhiyao worked at Tango Me as a Senior Software Engineer and later as an Engineering Manager, focusing on the Windows Phone 7 app and overseeing the messaging service. Currently, Zhiyao holds the position of TLM/Staff Software Engineer at Google, specializing in Google Shopping's merchant quality signals and insights since September 2019. Zhiyao's career began at NetEase Youdao, where responsibilities included tech management for mobile and desktop teams and development of various applications. Zhiyao earned a Ph.D. in Wireless Communications from Tsinghua University and holds a BS in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Beijing University of Post and Telecommunications. Further academic experience includes a visiting program at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
