Vilan le

Vilan Le has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries.

From 2019 to the present, Vilan has been working at goop.com as an Associate Lead Software Engineer. In this role, they have been responsible for developing new micro apps for the Goop website, maintaining the Spree shopping platform, and maintaining a Wordpress app. They have also worked with the data team to track web clicks and events to improve user experience.

Prior to goop.com, Vilan worked at AT&T from 2017 to 2019 as a Software Engineer. Here, they contributed to building AT&T's new Open Video platform for DirecTV, utilizing Amazon Web Services and open-source video engineering libraries. They also worked on front-end interfaces using Polymer framework and created Java-based microservices using the Springboot framework.

Before joining AT&T, Vilan gained experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Reflexion Health in 2016. During their internship, they worked on maintaining and enhancing the front-end web application, as well as designing and implementing test plans for the web application and physical Kinect software.

Additionally, Vilan has experience in the creative field as a Senior Producer and Lead Web Developer at Triton Television from 2015 to 2016. They produced short films and assisted peers in film production while also serving as a lead web developer for the organization, where they developed the TTV Checkout System.

Vilan Le began their education at Milpitas High School from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Continuing with their academic journey, they attended UC San Diego from 2013 to 2016, earning a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Computer Science. During their time at UC San Diego, in 2015, Vilan also participated in the UCSD Global Seminars program with a focus on Jazz in Paris. In terms of additional certifications, Vilan is a Certified SAFe 4 Practitioner, awarded by Scaled Agile, Inc.
