Brigitte Clark

Brigitte Clark joins them in welcoming Brigitte Clark back to Goose Creek CISD as the new chief financial officer. Clark began her career in 2004 as a senior financial auditor and moved to the manager of special accounting programs for Houston ISD. She served as comptroller in Port Arthur ISD from 2009 to 2010, moving to Cypress-Fairbanks ISD from 2010 to 2013 as assistant director of financial services. After serving as Goose Creek CISD’s director of finance from 2013 to 2016, Clark became a chief administrative officer in Corpus Christi ISD for two years before accepting the chief financial officer position for Gregory-Portland ISD in 2018.

Clark received her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houston – Downtown, and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston. She is a CPA and is affiliated with numerous organizations, such as the Government Finance Officers Association, Texas School Alliance, and Texas Association of School Business Officials.

Clark has been married to James McMains for 25 years, and they have one daughter, Scout, who is a senior at Texas A & M University majoring in education.
