Assistant Director, Facilities Design And Construction at Goose Creek CISD

Bruce Riggs has extensive work experience in the facilities design and construction field. Bruce started their career in 1997 at Goose Creek CISD as a Senior Project Manager. In this role, they managed contracts with consultants, contractors, and interagency organizations to plan, design, build, and occupy educational and support facilities for a large school district. Bruce was responsible for overseeing various construction projects, including the construction of a transportation center, a technology center, and an agricultural farm center. In October 2020, Bruce transitioned to the role of Assistant Director, Facilities Design and Construction at GOOSE CREEK CONSOLIDATED INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT, where they continue to contribute their expertise in managing and overseeing facilities-related projects.

Bruce Riggs attended Texas A&M University from 1965 to 1970, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree. During their time at the university, they focused on studying site planning, landscape architecture, architecture, and project management.
