Andrea Braun Střelcová is a predoctoral scholar at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, focusing on the 'China in the Global System of Science' Lise Meitner Research Group. Additionally, Andrea serves as a senior expert and junior expert for GOPA Worldwide Consultants, providing consultancy for projects related to the EU Delegation to China. Andrea's academic experience includes lecturing on Chinese science and innovation policy at Technische Universität Berlin and directing international cooperation projects at Charles University's Faculty of Physical Education and Sport. Previous roles include associate researcher at the EU-Asia Institute, country representative in China for EURAXESS, and an intern at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport. Andrea holds a PhD in Higher Education from the University of Tampere and a master's degree from the London School of Economics.
