Bill Fairbairn is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in vocational education and training project management, currently serving as Team Leader at GOPA Consultants since January 2015, overseeing a significant EU-funded project in Mongolia. Bill has held various roles, including Qualifications Expert at ICON-INSTITUTE GmbH, Deputy Team Leader at the Scottish Qualifications Authority, and consultant for the British Council and the Delegation of the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bill's expertise includes developing national qualifications frameworks, managing large-scale educational projects, and facilitating stakeholder engagement to enhance vocational training systems. Bill holds an MBA from Edinburgh Napier University, a Certificate in Secondary Education from Moray House College, a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, and is currently pursuing additional qualifications in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language.
