Robert Williams, MBA, PMP

Robert Williams, MBA, PMP has extensive work experience in various industries and positions. Robert started their career in the US Army as a Battle Tested Armor Crewman, where they demonstrated leadership skills and judgment under pressure during the Gulf War. After leaving the military, they worked as a Product Manager/Application Specialist at Lumedx, where they were responsible for the development and design of clinical software integration and image acquisition product lines. Robert then served as the VP of Operations at Select Homes International, where they actively assumed responsibility for all departments and participated in strategic and business planning.

In 1997, Williams joined Sutter Health as a Senior Project Manager in Corporate IT and remained in this role until 2003. During this time, they gained expertise in project management and contributed to the company's IT initiatives. After leaving Sutter Health, they joined WellCare Healthplans as the Director of Project Management, where they implemented a Project Management Office (PMO) and directed all IT project management and business analysis for the organization. Robert later became the Director of IT Controls, where they were responsible for IT strategy, administrative operations, and overall IT performance.

In 2006, Williams established their own company, goPMO, Inc., where they currently serve as the President & CEO. goPMO is a US Government Certified Veteran Owned Small Business that provides global services for technology and application deployments. In 2007, they also became the President/CEO of MediaDyme, a company focused on marketing planning and projects.

Robert Williams, MBA, PMP, completed their undergraduate education at California State University, Bakersfield, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Robert attended from 1991 to 1995 and focused their studies on Management Information Systems, General & Applied Economics.

Following their undergraduate studies, Robert pursued further education at the University of California, Davis - Graduate School of Management. Robert enrolled in their MBA program and specialized in eCommerce and Marketing. Robert completed their MBA from 1998 to 2001.
