Mariel Taylor

Mariel Taylor has extensive experience in education and customer service, currently serving as a Contractor Engagement Specialist at Gordian since September 2022. Prior to this role, Mariel worked as a First Grade Teacher for both Lexington County School District One from August 2016 to September 2022 and Richland School District 2 from August 2012 to June 2016. Mariel began a professional career as a Back-Up Head Teller at First Bank and Trust Co. from August 2007 to August 2012 and gained initial experience as a Server at Ruby Tuesday from 2004 to 2005. Mariel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of South Carolina Upstate, completed in December 2006, and has foundational education from Midlands Technical College and Ridge View High School.
