Meaghan Calcari Campbell

Program Officer, Marine Conservation at Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation

Previously, she was at Conservation International, where she evaluated community-based conservation and economic development projects in the Philippines and Indonesia. Meaghan also taught middle school environmental education in Missouri, Indiana, and North Carolina, the latter through a fellowship with the National Science Foundation. She facilitated a marine conservation funder working group in the Consultative Group on Biological Diversity. Meaghan also served on the Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy’s San Francisco Bay Area steering committee and as board secretary for the Canadian Environmental Grantmakers Network. She currently serves on the board of directors at the Environmental Grantmakers Association.

Meaghan received her B.S. in environmental science and psychology from the University of Notre Dame, certificate of international population and reproductive health from the University of Michigan, and Master of Environmental Management from Duke University. She also received her M.B.A. in community economic development from Cape Breton University.
