Kayla Sergi has a diverse background in human resources and benefits technology. Kayla began their career as a Benefits Specialist at Syniverse in 2014 and then moved on to Bloomin' Brands, Inc. in 2017, where they continued their work in benefits. In 2020, Kayla transitioned to Ideal Image as an HRIS Analyst, focusing on HR information systems. Kayla then served as a Senior Benefits Technology Specialist at Baldwin Risk Partners from June 2021 to November 2022. Most recently, Kayla joined Gordon Brothers as a Lead Associate in HRIS. Kayla'swork experience spans over nine years, showcasing their expertise in HR and benefits technology.

Kayla Sergi obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health from the University of Tampa between 2009 and 2013. In 2016, they engaged in a Continuing Education program at the University of South Florida, completing the SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification course. Kayla also holds additional certifications from Workday, including Workday Pro - Report Writing (expected in 2023), Workday Pro - Benefits (completed in 2022), and Workday Pro - HCM.
