Mark White graduated from Southern University Law Center in 2012. Following passage of the Louisiana State bar exam in 2012, Mark was hired as an Assistant District Attorney at the East Baton Rouge Parish DA’s office where he obtained numerous felony criminal convictions via negotiated pleas, bench trials, and jury trials, for felony charges including, Second Degree Murder, Armed Robbery, and Sexual violence. During the summer of 2017 Mark joined the Balfour Emonet Law Firm in Baton Rouge where he was first introduced to Personal Injury Law. While in private practice, he was licensed to practice in all Louisiana State and Federal courts. In the fall of 2018, and after developing a foundation in personal injury law, Mark and his wife Kelsi, decided to move back to their hometown of Monroe, Louisiana. Upon arrival, he went to work for the Ouachita Parish District Attorney’s office as an Assistant District Attorney, and again began prosecuting felony cases. While balancing the workload of an ADA, Mark continued to handle personal injury cases for friends and family. In 2019 Mark was awarded the Top 20 under 40 by the Monroe Chamber of Commerce and was a graduate of the 2019 Leadership Ouachita class. Prior to Law School, Mark graduated from Ouachita Christian School in 2004 and the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2008.
