Farouk Ahamed

Farouk Ahamed, CPA, CA, ICD.D, serves as President at ADF Invescap Inc., providing corporate finance advisory services since January 2010. Ahamed has held multiple leadership roles, including Chair of the Board of Directors at Gore Mutual Insurance since December 2011 and positions on Wilfrid Laurier University's Dean's Advisory Council for the School of Business & Economics, as well as serving as the Chair and Past Chair of the Board of Governors. Previously, Ahamed was the Chair of the Audit Committee at Armtec Infrastructure Inc. from May 2012 to July 2015 and retired as Senior Vice President & Partner at Ernst & Young Orenda Corporate Finance after nearly three decades. Ahamed's educational background includes participation in the Directors Education Program at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management and studies at Harvard Business School and Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Ahamed also holds a CPA, CA designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and completed an Honours BBA at Wilfrid Laurier University.
