Mobile Tech lead at Gorila

Jorge Garcia has worked in a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2014. In that year, they were a Full Stack Developer Intern at Conselho Regional de Corretores de Imóveis de São Paulo - CRECI-SP, where they were responsible for web development using ASP and ASP.NET frameworks with C# and the creation and maintenance of some internal systems and website back-end. From 2015 to 2016, they were an iOS Developer at Apple Developer Academy / Mackenzie and Flapper SIA. In 2015, they were also Co-founder & CTO at Simplifica Desenvolvimento, where they were responsible for business and digital product planning, planing and development of native iOS and Android app, development and UX of the products, back-end development, and Linux servers management and microservices with Docker. In 2016, they were Co-founder & CTO at Selo Vistos. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Tech Lead and Full Stack Engineer at ProjectHub, where they were responsible for the development and management of internal projects and external products such as Elo Labs, World Creativity Day 2019 and Brazil Creative Award 2019, and acted in all stages of the process, from technologies choices to product and team management and code development. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Tech Lead, Technical Product Owner, and Mobile Developer at World Creativity Day, where they were responsible for leadership of tech products, based on the company's vision, and interacting with other areas to align and develop, achieving quality in view of goals and deadlines. Finally, in 2020 they were a Mobile Engineer and Full Stack Developer at Gorila, where they were responsible for mobile development with React-Native and NodeJS backend with TS and NestJS framework, and the use of AWS technologies for micro-services like Lambda, SQS, SNS, Elastic Beanstalk and DynamoDB.

Jorge Garcia attended Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie from 2013 to 2016, where they obtained a degree in Information Systems. Jorge also attended ETEC Professor Basilides de Godoy from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a High School and Technical Education with a focus in Computation (development). In addition, they hold a Certificado de Conclusão do Programa MackMobile from Apple Developer Academy | Mackenzie, obtained in December 2016, as well as a Mack Computing Certification (MCC) - Desenvolvedor Web from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie.
