Winthe Vandoren

Winthe Vandoren has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2017, they worked as the Main responsible of the first-year students at VTK vzw, where they organized welcome weekends and reception activities for new students. In 2018, they worked as a Jobstudent at Materialise, specifically focusing on developing tutorials for the Mimics Innovation Suite 21 software. In 2020, they served as a Biomedical Engineering Consultant at Quality by Design, followed by a role as a Process Validation Engineer at Novartis. In 2021, they joined Materialise again as a Cardiovascular Technical Consultant before transitioning to the role of Hospital Market Responsible Enlight C&V EMEA, where they were responsible for expanding the market presence of Materialise's cardiac software product for the EMEA hospital market. Currently, since 2023, Winthe Vandoren is working at Gorilla - Energy data applications, initially as a Business Developer involved in generating new business on a global level, and later transitioning to the role of Product Marketeer.

Winthe Vandoren has a diverse education history in the field of biomedical and engineering. Winthe completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree from KU Leuven, with a major in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Mechanical Engineering, during the period from 2015 to 2018. Following this, they pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from KU Leuven from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, Winthe also briefly attended Instituto Superior Técnico in 2018 for a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering.
