Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions at SMART Technologies since July 2010. Currently, Chris is involved in hardware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Previously, Chris held positions as a firmware engineer and electronics contractor, focusing on firmware development and educational device design. Additionally, Chris served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, where responsibilities included conducting labs and grading. Chris began a career in electronics as an engineer at Grindcom, where control systems for harvester units were developed. Chris holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
