Peter Appel

Peter Appel is a distinguished legal professional with extensive experience at Gorrissen Federspiel since January 1985, holding positions as Partner, Attorney, Chairman of the Board, and Managing Partner. Between 1995 and 1998, Appel served as an Assistant Professor at Copenhagen Business School and prior to that was involved in executive education in maritime law at A.P. Moller - Maersk Group from 1986 to 1989. Appel's educational background includes a Leadership in Law Firms program at Harvard University in 2015, an LL.M. with Merit in Commercial and Corporate Law from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Candidatus juris degree from Københavns Universitet. Appel is also admitted to the Danish Bar and holds the right of audience before the Danish Supreme Court since 1996, with specialized training in maritime law from the University of Oslo.
