James Dunnam

James Dunnam has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and development. James began their career as a LiDAR Analyst at Laser Mapping Specialists, Inc., where they managed and organized large volumes of LiDAR and GIS data, implemented custom software solutions, and automated workflow processes. James later became the Manager of Geospatial Engineering and Data Systems, overseeing project prioritization, custom software implementation, and QA/QC of projects.

James then transitioned into the software development industry, starting as a Java Software Developer at SPARC, LLC. There, they played a crucial role in designing and developing complex rules to route veterans' claims, as well as implementing a claims-routing rules management system.

James continued to excel in various software engineering roles, including positions at Protecht Systems, Accelera Solutions, J-Mack Technologies, Somo Global, Superformula, and most recently, GoSchoolBox. Throughout their career, James held titles such as Software Developer, Software Architect, Senior Java Developer, Technical Lead, CTO, Senior Full Stack Developer, Senior Software Engineer, and currently, Sr Software Engineer.

Their responsibilities encompassed a wide range of tasks, including software design and development, prototyping, refactoring, creating custom solutions, implementing CI/CD solutions, and leading teams. James has extensive experience with technologies such as Spring Boot, AngularJS, Drools, ODM, Maven, Docker, Jenkins, and Gitlab.
