Alex West

Alex West started working as a Desktop Support for Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation in 2017. They were responsible for workstation maintenance and responding to service tickets. They also gained experience in new user creation and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

In 2018, Alex joined GoSecure as a Cyber Security Analyst. They conducted threat analysis, data/log analysis, and malware analysis. They also performed vulnerability analysis and reported on their findings.

Before that, Alex worked as a Technical Consultant at Euro Pizza starting from 2013. Their role involved providing consulting services and upgrading network, point of sale, and security interfaces. They were also responsible for backing up and exporting security data during incidents.

Alex West attended Purdue University in 2015, where they pursued a degree in Central Service Technician with a focus on Medical Device Reprocessing. After completing their studies at Purdue, Alex went on to enroll at Nova Scotia Community College - NSCC from 2016 to 2018. During their time at NSCC, Alex obtained a diploma in Information Technology.
