Michael Mazza

Michael Mazza is currently employed as a SOC Tier 3 Analyst - Cloud Specialist at GoSecure, starting November 2023, where responsibilities include responding to and tuning client alerts with Microsoft Defender and Sentinel, as well as conducting threat hunts utilizing a SIEM and EDR solutions. Prior experience includes working as a SOC Tier 1/2 Analyst, effectively detecting and mitigating cybersecurity threats across a large network of devices. Before that, Michael served as a Cybersecurity Support Specialist at Quadra Chemicals, handling cybersecurity awareness initiatives and responding to security incidents using the Microsoft Defender Platform. Education includes a BA in Criminology & Policing (Honors) from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Certificate of Applied Cybersecurity from McGill University School of Continuing Studies, among other qualifications in criminology and global crime.
