Micko Rada

Micko Rada is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as a Security Engineer (SIEM) at GoSecure since September 2024, where responsibilities include designing and optimizing FortiSIEM infrastructure and enhancing disaster recovery strategies. Prior to this role, Micko held the position of Senior Cybersecurity Analyst at BCNET from September 2021 to September 2024, managing multiple FortiSIEM clusters and supporting backend upgrades. Earlier experience includes work as a Cyber Security Analyst I, involved in incident resolution and onboarding organizations into SIEM services. Micko began a career in technology as an IT Technician Assistant for Burnaby School District - SD41 in 2019. Educational pursuits include a Bachelor of Technology in Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, alongside other certifications from the SANS Technology Institute.
