Francisco De Castro

Francisco De Castro is currently the VP of Engineering at GoShare. Prior to this, they served as the Lead Software Engineer at GoShare from February 2017 to September 2019. In this role, Francisco led a remote team of 9 software engineers and was responsible for hiring new software engineers. Francisco also worked on a new architecture for the company's system, enforced good practices in software development, and participated in business decisions. From August 2015 to February 2017, Francisco was a Software Engineer at GoShare where they migrated the legacy system from plain PHP scripts to the Codeigniter Web Framework, integrated the system with Braintree payments, and maintained and added improvements to the company's API and Admin panel. Prior to working at GoShare, Francisco was a Software Developer at the Group of Computer Networks, Software Engineering and Systems from August 2013 to May 2014.

Francisco De Castro graduated from Universidade Federal do Ceará with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Francisco then went on to study Computer Science at San Diego State University-California State University.

Francisco De Castro reports to Shaun Savage, Founder & CEO. They work with Chris Hinz - CRO, Sean Peek - Director of Customer Service, and Ryan Perfit - CFO.
