Richard Curcuru, MSW, LICSW, oversees operations including the direct management, operational performance, implementation and outcome monitoring and strategic planning of the entire continuum of services Gosnold provides. Richard has over 30 years of clinical and leadership experience in the behavioral health field with experience in inpatient, partial hospital, and outpatient managed care organizations in both the private and public sectors. Prior to joining Gosnold, Richard served as the Executive Director of Behavioral Medicine for the Tenet Northeast Market and in this role was responsible for the overall strategic leadership and oversight of the continuum of clinical services of three hospitals in Massachusetts. Before that he was Executive Director of Behavioral Health Services for Cape Cod Healthcare with responsibility for the operational leadership of all behavioral health programs within the large two-hospital system on Cape Cod. Richard has had other senior leadership positions, including at The Home for Little Wanderers and McLean Hospital and also has an extensive clinical experience providing direct care to children, incarcerated adults and clients with significant addiction problems. Richard earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Westfield State University and his Master’s degree in Social Work from Boston College.
