Since 2011, Edwin Haverkamp has had a diverse range of work experiences in the field of motion design. Edwin started their career at FXmedia as a Motion Designer from February 2011 to March 2013. In 2015, they worked as a Motion Designer at Circus Family until September 2016. From October 2016 to October 2019, Edwin worked as a Medior Motion Designer at in60seconds, where they were responsible for storyboarding, designing, and animating explainer videos for various clients. In 2016, they also worked as a Seminar Developer and Teacher at ESADE Business & Law School, where they created and taught a skill seminar on "Graphic Design for Entrepreneurs."

In 2019, Edwin freelanced as a 2D Motion Designer at Wieden + Kennedy from November 2019 to February 2020. Edwin then worked for GoSpooky as a freelance 2D Motion Designer for a month in February 2020. Edwin also contributed to the motion design industry as an Owner, providing motion design, animations, explainer videos, and gifs to studios and clients remotely since March 2013.

In April 2020, Edwin collaborated with the Do Good Collective as a Motion Graphic Designer, where they worked alongside a project manager and senior designer to support small local businesses affected by the COVID-19 crisis. Edwin created social assets for Bckspace eyewear during their time there. Edwin returned to GoSpooky in September 2020, this time as a Senior Motion Designer until February 2021.

In February 2021, Edwin transitioned to the role of SubLead Video at GoSpooky until September 2021. Currently, they serve as a Project Manager at GoSpooky, a position they have held since September 2021.

Edwin Haverkamp has a diverse education history. Edwin started with their HAVO degree at Almere College from 1999 to 2004, focusing on the profile of Economics & Society. In 2004, they briefly attended Windesheim for a course in Commercial Economics. Later, from 2005 to 2009, they pursued Multimedia Design at Deltion College, Grafisch Lyceum, and obtained an MBO level 4 degree in Multimedia. In 2009 and 2010, Edwin attended KABK, Koninklijke Academie van de Beeldende Kunsten, where they studied Interactive/Media/Design. Lastly, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Image & Media Technology from Hogeschool voor de kunsten Utrecht en Hilversum between 2011 and 2014.
