Jim Klancke

Jim Klancke has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Jim worked as an Executive Director of Analytical Sciences at Gossamer Biosciences since December 2020 and previously served as a Senior Analytical Services Consultant at DSI - Design Space InPharmatics LLC from May 2020 to December 2020. Prior to that, Jim was a Pharmaceutical CMC Consultant at their own company, James Consulting, LLC, from December 2017 to December 2020, providing expert analytical method development and validation services to the pharmaceutical industry. Jim also had a long tenure at Teva Pharmaceuticals, starting in June 1994 as a Sr. Director of Analytical Development, where they led teams in method development, validation, stability, and quality control for drug delivery formulation concepts. Before Teva, Jim worked as an Analytical Chemist at Lilly Research Labs from August 1989 to July 1994, specializing in methods development and analysis for new chemical entities and intermediates.

Jim Klancke completed their Bachelor of Science degree in ACS Chemistry at St. Cloud State University from 1982 to 1986. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Analytical Chemistry at the University of South Dakota, which they completed from 1987 to 1989.
